Pricing

What Saifuro charges, how decisions and settled volume are counted, and what is not charged for.

Saifuro charges three things: a monthly platform fee, a per-decision fee above an included volume, and a fee on money that settles through Saifuro. Rail, network, and gas fees pass through at cost. Fees are invoiced monthly and never deducted from a payment. Saifuro is not in the flow of funds.

The numbers here are the same as on saifuro.com/pricing. This page is the precise version: how each quantity is counted.

Counting decisions

A decision is one request the policy engine evaluated and answered with a verdict, whichever side sent it: an agent's spend request on the buy side, or a paid request Saifuro metered on the sell side.

  • allow, review, and every deny_* count the same.
  • A retry carrying the same idempotency key is not a new decision. A request made after an approval has expired is.
  • A person confirming a review verdict does not add a decision. The approval is written to the log as a superseding decision, as authorizations describes, and that record is not counted again.
  • Verification of a signed verdict against the key at verdicts.saifuro.com/.well-known/jwks.json is free and uncounted.
  • After evaluation, every decision counts whether the policy class is enforcing or still observing.
  • Decisions are not charged during evaluation.

Counting settled volume

Settled volume is money that settled under a Saifuro authorization: a payment Saifuro instructed through a provider adapter, or a receipt Saifuro metered and billed. The funds move between your account and the counterparty's. Saifuro is in the instruction path, never in the flow of funds.

  • Payments Saifuro only evaluated and recorded, in detective mode, are not settled volume. Only decisions are charged there. Which mode applies to which rail is stated per integration; see security.
  • A payment is one settlement instruction. A batch that settles many metered requests in one transaction is one payment for the settlement fee and one decision per request.
  • Graduated tiers apply to the volume inside each band. Bands reset each calendar month.
  • A payment reversed in full within 30 days is removed from settled volume. The decisions behind it stand.
  • Settled volume in other currencies or assets is converted to US dollars at the rate on the settlement date.

Money in, money out, and both

Money in is settled volume you receive. Money out is settled volume your agents pay.

When both parties to a payment are Saifuro customers, or both are agents of the same customer, the settlement fee is charged once, to the receiving side, at the money-in rate. The paying side pays no settlement fee on that payment.

Escrow

0.25% of the escrowed amount, minimum $1 per deal, charged to the customer that created the escrow when it releases. Nothing is charged on a deal that refunds or expires, and nothing accrues while funds sit in escrow. Network fees for funding and release pass through at cost. See escrow.

Billing

  • Invoices are issued monthly in arrears, in US dollars, exclusive of applicable taxes. Bank transfer or card, net 15.
  • Billing begins on the effective date of the service agreement, after the evaluation report.
  • Production is monthly with 30 days' notice. Enterprise is annual.
  • After termination the decision log stays exportable for 90 days.
  • Rail, network, and gas fees appear as separate lines at cost.
  • Every production plan carries a 99.9% uptime commitment in the service agreement. Enterprise adds service credits and named incident response times, and 99.95% where placement allows; see support.
